With great enthusiasm, the Faculty of Law of the University of Valladolid (UVA) hosted its facilities for the VIII Human Rights Congress that took place on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The event was attended by Professors Dr. Thiago Matsushita – Director of the ALFA EDUCAÇÃO Law School, Dr. André de Carvalho Ramos – Coordinator of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program – Master's in Law at UNIALFA, Dr. Marina Faraco – Deputy Coordinator of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program – Master's in Law at UNIALFA, Dr. Lauro Ishikawa – General Coordinator of the Courses at the ALFA EDUCAÇÃO Law School, Dr. Bruno Lorencini – Professor at UNIALFA, Dr. Alexandre Nascimento Pinheiro – Professor at UNIALFA, Dr. Tulio Augusto Tayano Afonso – Professor at UNIALFA and Dr. Rennan Faria Krüger Thamay – Professor at FADISP.

Bringing sessions with varied themes for debate, such as: “Fiscal Democracy and Fundamental Rights”, “Economic Development and Human Rights”, “The Grammar of Human Rights”, “Fundamental Judicial Rights”.

The Congress was a great success, bringing together renowned experts, students and professionals in the field to discuss crucial issues and share their experiences. The event provided an environment conducive to learning, critical reflection and the construction of new perspectives on the challenges and opportunities that arise in the fight for the defense of human rights.
