With 24 years of tradition in teaching Law, FADISP was founded by professors Dr. José Manuel Arruda Alvim and Dr. Thereza Alvim. At FADISP, classes are taught 100% in person. We believe that the proximity between students and teachers is important for developing critical thinking and arguments for professional practice. We involve students, making them interact, participate and experience the academic experience like no other school.

Advanced Method

The curricular matrices of FADISP courses are constantly reviewed and updated to ensure a cutting-edge curriculum, with an emphasis on the subjects related to each course. Theoretical classes, discussion of topics and seminars make teaching more dynamic and integrated, providing solid and well-founded learning.

To complement the studies carried out and make the curriculum more flexible, according to the student's individual vocation, FADISP provides complementary activities aimed at professional life performance.

Social Responsibility

Responsible:

Professor Juliana Leme Faleiros

One of FADISP's commitments is to always act as a citizen institution and be aware of its obligations as an active participant in society.

This fulfillment of the fundamental social duty as a private IES arises from a constitutional imposition, as André Ramos Tavares asserts: “What is required is that the company reconciles – in which there is a delicate coexistence – its private interests with constitutionally endorsed collective or social interests” (Direito Constitucional da Empresa. Rio de Janeiro: Forense; São Paulo: Método, 2013, p. 106).

For a civic, humanist, critical, reflective and supportive education, in addition to the social commitment to integrating the academic community and society, the ALFA EDUCAÇÃO Law School, which brings together the Law Courses of UNIALFA and FADISP, integrates the Governing Body Coordinators, Teachers, Students, Graduates and Collaborators, encouraging openness to the general public in permanent dialogue with society.

Integration is achieved through the leadership of Professors in promoting academic teaching, research and extension activities, through the holding of national and international Congresses, Seminars and Symposia, webinars, integrated research with students and graduates and submission for publication in journals and collections.

The promotion of social responsibility aims to contribute to the mitigation of social issues identified by it as an opportunity, thus promoting the improvement of social well-being in the environment in which it operates, through actions developed by its teaching staff, students, administrative staff and with the important participation of alumni.

Actions carried out in 2023

The Autonomous Faculty of Law (FADISP) held the 3rd “Solidarity Feijoada” on September 15 and 16 at the Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish. The goal was to distribute lunch boxes to homeless people and people in vulnerable situations. To this end, employees, students and teachers helped prepare the feijoada, juice and cake.

According to the director of the ALFA EDUCAÇÃO Law School, Dr. Thiago Matsushita, encouraging solidarity from the academic community in donating and preparing food, as well as serving more than 700 needy people, fills our hearts. “The solidarity feijoada is a very important community action for FADISP”, he adds.

Another very important charity event was the 2nd Clothing Drive. It took place in June and during this event, blankets, shoes, warm clothing and accessories in excellent condition were donated to the community of the Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish.

In March, FADISP, with the theme “Donate a book, encourage reading”, collected dozens of books for the Santana Women’s Penitentiary and Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish. The mission was to provide greater access to literature through these donations.

For these two institutions, FADISP also carried out a campaign to donate hygiene kits during International Women's Month. The action was a success, as students and teachers mobilized to reach the desired goal of kits. After the collection, they made a monitored visit to the Penitentiary and delivered the products.

In addition to these actions, FADISP for the first year entered into a partnership with the cool cap project that It is the largest socio-environmental educational program in the circular economy initiated by the plastics processing industry in the Americas., collecting plastic bottle caps with the aim of raising awareness and encouraging the circular economy. More than 300 bottle caps were delivered at the end of the year to the partner institution, Center for Inclusion and Support for Autistic People.

In the spirit of Christmas, FADISP collected toys in good condition or new to give to over 90 children from the NGO CIAAG – Center for Inclusion and Support for Autistic People. The FADISP community showed its commitment to solidarity, brightening up the Christmas of these little ones with gestures of love and affection.

Actions carried out in 2024

The Autonomous Faculty of Law (FADISP) held the 4th “Solidarity Feijoada” on September 6th and 7th at the Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish. The goal was to distribute lunch boxes to homeless people and people in vulnerable situations. To this end, employees, students and teachers helped prepare the feijoada, juice and cake.

According to the student of FADISP of ALFA EDUCAÇÃO, Miguel Campos Drumond, “what I learned during those hours was that what is little for you may not always be a lot for someone else. What motivated me to go to the feijoada was the fact that I wanted to make a difference. By being there, I would be making someone's day. I really believe in a phrase that says: “They only created death so that life would be worth living.” I understand this phrase in the sense that we live with the certainty that one day we will pass away, so let's put aside the rush of life for a while and help others have a great day”, he adds;

Another very important charity event was the Personal Hygiene Kit Donation. It took place in April and during this event, toothpaste, toilet paper, hair combs and sanitary pads in excellent condition were donated to the community of the Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish.

In October, FADISP celebrated a mass in honor of Our Lady of Aparecida, followed by a thanksgiving ceremony from the President of the José Alves Group, José Alves Filho. On Children's Day, the mass was attended by Father Anderson. The Children's Day party featured ice cream, hot dogs, crêpes, carne louca and much more.

Also in October, we collected bottle caps for “Tampinhas que Curam”, which was created in 2021. Through the bottle cap campaign, the community and companies can contribute in a simple and practical way, helping to raise funds for the treatment of children with cancer through the promotion of recycling, protecting and preserving the environment.

On the 13th of December, FADISP employees met at the Senhor Bom Jesus dos Passos Parish to distribute panettones to homeless and vulnerable people.
