Under the title: “Attacks on Democracy and Populism. New academic program for strengthening institutions in Latin America” – ERASMUS+ DEMOS, the International Network Project with Kick Off Meeting held at the Law School of ALFA EDUCAÇÃO – UNIALFA/FADISP began this Tuesday (23).

The following universities are part of the consortium: from France, SCIENCES PO; from Italy, UNIVERSITY ALMA ATER STUDIORUM DI BOLOGNA and UNIVERSITY DEGLI STUDI DI SIENA; from Spain, UNIVERSITY OF CASTILLA-LA MANCHA and UNIVERSITY OF CÁDIZ; from Colombia, UNIVERSITY FREE OF COLOMBIA and UNIVERSITY DEL ROSARIO; from Peru, PONTIFICAL CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF PERU and NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TRUJILLO; from Chile, UNIVERSITY AUTONOMOUS OF CHILE and UNIVERSITY OF LA FRONTERA; and from Brazil, CENTRO UNIVERSIDADE UNIVERSIDADE ALVES FARIA (UNIALFA) and INSTITUTO PRESBYTERIANO MACKENZIE.

Prof. Dr. Flaviane de Magalhães Barroz Bolzan de Morais, Coordinator of the Law Area at CAPES, attended the Kick Off Meeting and highlighted the importance of the internationalization of the Stricto Sensu Program, and ERASMUS+ under the title presented has an important purpose and provides opportunities for training and research in an international network.

The 41 Professors present, 29 of whom were foreign, represented their respective Universities and made a firm commitment to continue with the Project for the next 3 years.
