Min. André Ramos Tavares, Minister of the TSE and Head Coordinator of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program – Masters and Doctorate in Law at FADISP, represented the Superior Electoral Court at the opening of the judicial year of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, in San José, Costa Rica.

On the occasion, the inauguration ceremony of the new board of directors of the Court was held, with Brazilian Rodrigo Mudrovitsch as vice-president. The presidency will be held by Costa Rican judge Nancy Hernández López. Both will serve from 2024 to 2026.

Min. André Ramos Tavares also participated in a meeting of the Plenary of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights that took place at 5 pm this Monday (5). During the meeting, there was a presentation and discussion of the activities of that Court in this new judicial year and the important role of the Electoral Court in the defense of democracy.
