Users are advised to observe the following recommendations:
- No smoking – Law No. 9,294, of July 15, 1996;
- Do not use cell phones;
- Do not consume food or drinks;
- Keep silent, avoiding speaking in a tone that is incompatible with the library environment;
- It is not permitted to add, remove programs, access pages with pornographic content, chats and other content considered inappropriate;
- It is not permitted to leave the library with materials without proper authorization or loan;
- Replace lost or damaged works in cases of non-return that are under your responsibility;
- Take care of the materials under your responsibility, avoiding: exposure to sunlight and humidity; handling with dirty hands, moistening your finger with saliva to turn the pages of a book; opening the book by forcing the seam; scratching, tearing or tearing out pages;
- Suggest improvements to Library services;
- Respect the rules of use of the Libraries;
- Observe the deadlines indicated for returning materials borrowed;
- Leave your bags, purses and backpacks under the care of the person in charge of the left-luggage counter. When leaving, you must remove your material from the left-luggage counter;
- Consult the online catalog and note down the call number before going to the service desk;
- Make a reservation for the video room in advance;
- Use a bookmark to mark where you stopped reading, without folding, crossing out or making notes on the pages;
- Report any damage found to the material to be borrowed to the customer service department;
- Return borrowed materials on time, avoiding fines (calculated per day late for each work or service R$1.50).
